În țările vestice, în care societatea este mult mai preocupată de generațiile viitoare, activitățile în aer liber – outdoor sunt folosite din plin în procesul educațional.
Un exemplu în acest sens sunt și grădinițele outdoor, în care preșcolarii își dezvoltă abilitățile personale interacționând direct cu natura și surprizele ei.

Societatea românească este încă departe de un astfel de concept educațional, atât la nivelul părinților cât mai ales la nivelul educatorilor. Dar acest lucru se poate modifica, prin efortul comun al celor care înțeleg necesitatea unei educații reale, teoretică și mai ales practică.
